This spectacular color scheme was designed for the 75th anniversary of the Oregon Air National Guard in 2016.

This very nice 3d model is from file404. I purchased a 1/48th scale decal set from Warbird Decals in the hope of simply scanning and photo-shopping the designs onto the 3d textures. But the resolution was too grainy to use, so I had to repaint all the markings in GIMP! This turned out to be a massive undertaking as the design is extremely complex - just one tail design has twenty plus layers in GIMP!
