This HH-60G Pave Hawk is an advanced version of the standard U.S.Army UH-60 Black Hawk. It's core mission is the recovery of personnel under hostile conditions, including combat search and rescue.
Pave Hawk's specialized equipment includes a retractable in-flight refueling probe, internal auxiliary fuel tanks and two 7.62 mm miniguns or .50-caliber machine guns. On-board systems include a radar warning receiver, infrared jammer and a flare/chaff countermeasure dispensing system.
This 3d model is from file404. There were a few problems with the mesh that had to be fixed and smoothed to my liking. All unit markings and stencils were created by me in GIMP.
The black mustache was added during its deployment to Afghanistan where the aircraft operated using the call-sign "Pedro" which dates back to "Jolly Green Giants" of the Vietnam War. The footprints on the right door signify lives saved.
