M3A1 Half-Track

3d model of the famous U.S.Army M3A1 Half-Track of World War Two.

The model is based on the Hum3D Half-Track with some major corrections and detailing. The interior was very basic so had to be added. The pulpit mount was reworked, tools and stowage added. The tires had to be remodeled.
The uv remapping and texturing took the longest time.

The figures and uniforms are from DAZ3D with the 4th Armored Division insignia added.

Unit markings are for a 4th Armored Division, 53rd Infantry Battalion Half-Track.

The rear stowage racks were added and loaded with various items. The K rations cartons actually have the menu items listed if you look closely! 'D' stands for dinner and 'B' for breakfast. The cloth cover was draped using the new DAZ3D dForce gravity simulation feature.
